In Conversation with…

Andrew O’Hagan is a novelist, essayist and non-fiction writer and one of the most exciting and serious chroniclers of contemporary Britain. In these festival conversations he explores certain themes that are inherent in The Waste Land: urban and rural lives, landscape, myth, and the relationship between the individual, the community and place.

A series of conversations with writers and artists across the festival exploring themes from The Waste Land that offer a contemporary resonance such as landscape, mechanisation, gender-fluidity, ecology, pollution, women’s rights, the power of myth and mental health and well-being.
